The last few years have seen a major change in
photography and in the way that Fosters serves its customers. In the past, each
of our departments was segregated with its own customer base but now
we have opened all our services to everyone. This has enabled us to offer
a greater variety of products to more people and meant the expansion of
our retail services to cope with the increased
customers.Imaging is our Business We concentrate on the business of Imaging as a concept in itself and not just the sale of specific items such as hardware or processing. Customers can now take advantage of more services that were previously only available to professional businesses together with simpler ordering systems, including online ordering.
These include specialist processing techniques in
digital and film, black and white, large display enlargements for home and
corporate decor, computer designed wedding and portrait imaging backed up
by large stocks of frames, albums, cameras, binoculars and helpful staff
to guide you.
Great Presents from our
Photo Library
Our Photo Library has a
collection of images from the past and the present that make fantastic
gifts. Framed prints can be made a short notice from our
many Heritage, Aviation and Railway images, in various sizes and
prices.
Fosters Photographic
Courses
Due to public demand, we have re-opened our portrait studio offering
quality, family photography at very reasonable prices. We regularly run
photo courses which have grown rapidly to encompass subjects such as
'Digital for Beginners', 'Creative Photography for All', 'Using Cameras
and Computers', 'Photoshop Tools' and hands-on practical sessions out on
location. We can also arrange specialist one-to-one courses on most
photographic subjects. These are run either for the general public or
industry and commercial business requirements.
