Our Retail Shop

Since starting in 1947 our business has steadily grown from a small photographic shop to one of the best imaging centres in the east of England. We offer an excellent stock of cameras, binoculars, photo processing, frames, albums and expert photographic advice from staff with many years' experience.

Cameras and Binoculars

Quality advice from practical photographers is the secret of our camera and binocular sales. Camera models in stock include Kodak, Fuji and Rollei with optical equipment from top-value suppliers. All our stock is carefully selected to give the best value and performance for each of our customers.

Processing Service

Our top quality processing service is known as the best and most comprehensive in the county, serving our shop customers and by mail order. Whether it is film, digital, colour or black and white, we process it all on the premises in our modern laboratory.

Our enlarging services can produce prints up to 12 feet long and can be framed, put on to canvas or digitally enhanced in a variety of ways.

Our restoration service produces high quality copies of torn or faded photos as well as reproducing paintings up to six feet in length.

Photo Frames

Our frame gallery always has a range of frames in wood, metal (silver, brass etc.) and glass up to 12" x 10". A custom framing service is available from fifty different mouldings and twenty mount colours for special sizes with new techniques such as canvas wraps, box frames and other special finishes available.

Albums

Years ago all albums were black but today they come in a variety of colours, styles, shapes and sizes. We hold a large stock to choose from as well as specialist wedding and portrait albums.

Wedding Album Centre

This is one of our most recent introductions. We stock wedding albums from small, hand bag sizes to large, top quality professional albums from Britain and Italy. Many of these new models enable you to slip photos in quickly and easily in minutes without all the old fashioned mounting techniques needed in the past.

Portrait Studio and Teaching Centre

Our modern studio provides good quality photography at very reasonable prices for families, pets, individuals and commercial clients.

Our teaching centre is where we hold all our in-house photo courses on a wide variety of subjects, including specialist one-to-one training.

Our retail shop welcomes customers who want advice or just to browse. Our staff have had many years of experience in the photographic business and are always happy to help.
