Just as the photographic industry has been revolutionized, A. Foster & Son has adapted its business to stay right up to date with new products and services. The quality and service that our reputation was built on is still there in our professional laboratory today serving both industry and business. We have now expanded into amateur processing with many new imaging services available to everyone both from our retail shop and over 40 agencies around the county.

The expansion of retail products and services

Our retail site now has twice the space allocated to large stocks of frames, albums, wedding and portrait products as well as a range of quality digital cameras, binoculars and printer papers with the expert photographic help to back it all up. Our in-house photo processing caters for digital and film printing to the highest quality standards so hard to find in today's mass volume retail stores. We are one of the few photo businesses left who specialise in doing work that other photos shops cannot handle, such as producing prints and copies from all sizes of old negatives and pictures, special custom-size enlargements and with a wide knowledge of photography going back over 60 years.  All our staff are experts in their field from the most advanced photo processing techniques to design and custom framing services. We also have specialist departments for photo restoration, copying and reproduction of paintings and large display graphics. We regularly run photographic courses on digital cameras, creative photography and other allied subjects.
